Building on the success of our first festival last year (thank you one and all for your enthusiasm and support), it’s full speed ahead into our second festival with a spectacular line-up of authors.
A word about our collaborators. Women Killing It Festival could never happen without the cooperation and collaboration of a number of organizations: Food Not Bombs (which is dedicated to feeding people) The Friends of Rose House Museum (who are providing our tea and who, BTW, are having a Fish Fry at North Marysburgh Town Hall on Aug. 11th starting at 4:30 p.m.) Picton Library (which is hosting our workshops) and St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church (which is allowing us to use their spectacular space.) Nor would we last long without our sponsors: Black Prince Winery and The Grange of Prince Edward County who have both continued their support, Books & Co., Diggers Books & Zines, Vicki Delany & Janet Kellough and our newest sponsor Whattam Funeral Home (yes, we realize that’s ironic. So do they. That’s why they’re cool.)
Thanks to them all, we’re able to present some of Canada’s finest mystery and crime authors this Labour Day weekend. See you there!
